The stars are Amazon’s on Oct 2, 2026. The good, the bad, and the ugly is a reading of those reviews, not a hands-on test.
These four are stations, not roof systems. Prices are what Amazon showed the evening of Oct 2, 2026, and they can change.
The Jackery Explorer 300 is the one to start with for a short outage. It had the deepest review count in this set that evening, 4.6 stars from 11,286 reviews, at $259 with a $289 list price. The panel is sold separately. It is an entry station, not a whole-house battery.
The other three
The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is the step up in the same family. Amazon showed $499, list $559, with 4.7 stars from 3,634 reviews. Amazon’s page says solar charging works only with Jackery panels. Do not treat another brand’s panel as the official charger for this unit.
The BLUETTI AC180 sat at $449, list $499, with 4.5 stars from 2,630 reviews. Amazon marked that listing non-returnable. Read that before you buy it for a one-time trip.
The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 was $499.99, list $599, with 4.7 stars from 1,660 reviews. Same evening, same kind of job as the larger Jackery and the BLUETTI: more capacity than the Explorer 300, and more money.
If the job is a weekend of fridge, phones, and a light, buy the Explorer 300. Move up only if you already know you need the larger box.
